Strele Logistics has utilised a Modulift spreader beam for the installation of a 49-tonne chimney, measuring 35 m in length, at a biological waste treatment facility in Kaunas, Lithuania.
Strele loaded the chimney at the Enerstena Group's facility, 3 km away from its installation location. It was loaded onto a semi-trailer using two 15-tonne capacity overhead cranes that were already installed in the building and a 90-tonne capacity Faun ATF90G-4 mobile crane.
The chimney was then transported the jobsite by Klaipedos Transekspedicija.
Once on site, a 500-tonne capacity Liebherr LTM1500-8.1 fitted with a Modulift MOD 70 beam, and a 200-tonne capacity Terex AC200, were used to install the chimney.
