The port of Bilbao, Spain, has loaded its heaviest-ever cargo: a 2,450-ton (2,223-tonne) ship-to-shore (STS) crane.

The Danieli STS crane, which measured 107 m x 37.50 m x 64 m, was rolled-out onto a barge using SPMTs.
The barge will now be towed to the Belgian port of Ghent.
Danieli and Sarens executed the load-out operation. Forwarding and agency services were delivered by Maritima Davila Bilbao, contracted by Fracht Italia. Stevedoring services were provided by Consignaciones Toro y Betolaza.
