The Netherlands-based MJ van Riel, a specialist in the relocation of industrial plant and machinery, has utilised an Enerpac SL300 hydraulic gantry to install a sheet metal press brake.
The press brake was installed in two parts, each weighing 32,500 kg 32.5 tonnes and measuring 5.06 m x 2.86 m x 4.11 m.
To cope with the limited working height, MJ van Riel used a low loader to transport the press brake into the factory. Equipped with two-stage lifting cylinders, The SL300 gantry and a side-shift unit were utilised to ensure the parts were lifted and positioned accurately.
MJ van Riel used the gantry’s Intellilift wireless remote control for unobstructed views of the load, and accurate positioning of the press brake, says Enerpac.
