Marine Maroc has utilised four modular combinations of Cometto MSPE self-propelled trailers to transport six 215-tonne diesel generators and six 72-tonne generators in Kayes, Mali.
“The MSPE convoy was formed by eight axle lines coupled side-by-side with other eight-axle vehicles,” explained Daniel Delorme, ceo of Marine Maroc.
“We reached a platform width of 5 m and a payload of approximately 600 tonnes, always assuring the safest transport conditions for the load. They were used for the final movement of the project to position the engines inside the power house on the job site, alongside the foundations.”
Based in Casablanca, Morocco, Marine Maroc handled the transport on behalf of Bolloré Logistics and BWSC Denmark.
