Harlyn Solutions has completed its scope at the Moray West offshore wind farm project, playing a key role in the transportation and installation of two offshore substation platforms (OSP).
The pair of OSPs were moved from the Tyne of Newcastle to the port of Nigg. Harlyn Solutions took on the challenge of transporting the pair of OSPs, including load-in and load-out. Additionally, Harlyn was entrusted by Moray West to undertake the monopile cleaning scope, which employs cutting-edge technology to ensure the thorough and environmentally friendly maintenance of offshore wind structures, enhancing their longevity and operational efficiency.
Pete Geddes, Moray West project director, said: “Harlyn’s commitment to safety and efficiency has been exemplary, and together with a flexible approach to project needs have ensured a seamless and successful execution of the scope. Their expertise has been an invaluable asset to the project’s progress.”
