Turkey’s Hareket has loaded out three oversized pieces of oil processing equipment at Borusan port.
The equipment included a mercaptan extractor, which measured 55 m long and weighed 405 tonnes; a 375-tonne gasoline splitter, which had a diameter of 6 m and a length of 53 m; and a crude stabiliser, which measured 85 m long and tipped the scales at 715 tonnes.
The cargoes were manufactured by Çimtaş at its facilities in Gemlik where they were loaded onto SPMTs.
The equipment was subsequently moved to Borusan port where they were loaded onto barges for onward shipment to Kazakhstan.
The components will be used at Tengizchevroil’s (TCO) petroleum refinery.
