USA-headquartered C.H. Robinson coordinated the transportation of two air heaters from the port of Houston to Manitoba, Canada.
Each unit measured 12 m x 4.5 m x 5 m, weighed 36.6 tonnes, and was moved to Canada by road; each load required police escorts for the 1,600 km journey.
C.H. Robinson oversaw the unloading operation at the port in Houston, the acquisition of permits, and the cross-border transportation.
From initial planning to delivery, the project took six months.
