Bolloré Logistics was recently contracted by Ziemann Holvrieka to transport a consignment of industrial brewing equipment from Belgium to Diageo's Guinness factory in Bassa, Cameroon.
The consignment weighed 347 tonnes and comprised 11 silos with their legs, as well as seven 40 ft containers of accessories.
Upon arrival at the port of Douala, the brewing tanks were unloaded onto two trailers using a crane and loader unit, before being transported to the factory in Bassa.
Bolloré's local teams in Cameroon and Belgium provided an end-to-end service, managing all necessary documentation involved in the operation, as well as Customs clearance formalities.
