Last month, BOA completed the load-out, transport and float-off of fully enclosed floating salmon fish-farm, the Marine Donut, in Norway.
Utilising the semi-submersible Boabarge 34, the Marine Donut was loaded in Asdalstrand, Bamble, and was floated off north of the island Sekken, Romsdalsfjord.
The unique Marine Donut is designed and constructed by Bluegreen Vision at Asdalstrand, Bamble and is constructed in high density polyethylene (HDPE). The construction has an outer diameter of 59 m and height of 19.4 m.
