Almajdouie Logistics has transported heavy cargo from Dammam Second Industrial City to Ras Tanura, Saudi Arabia.
The equipment measured 20.85 m x 5.43 m x 10 m and weighed 81 tonnes.
Almajdouie said that the height of the load posed the biggest challenge, as it required working with Saudi Electric Company to shut down and lift power lines to accommodate the move.
A specially designed side-by-side trailer combination was deployed for the project to maintain stability while traversing uneven roads along the route.
Given the Covid-19 outbreak, extra attention was given to ensure that operations staff complied with the Ministry of Health’s guidelines, added Almajdouie.
