July 12 - The Peters & May Group has transported 45 yachts on board Hansa Heavy Lift's vessel HHL New York.
The Caribbean sailing season, which usually lasts from the end of November until June, saw Peters & May operate seven sailings, departing from Antigua, St Thomas and Fort Lauderdale.
The most recent sailing saw HHL New York loaded above and below deck with 45 yachts, filling all available spaces and, according to Peters & May, breaking the record with the largest number of yachts shipped on a single vessel.
The first call for HHL New York was the UK's Port of Southampton where Peters & May's loadmasters handled the discharge of the yachts after which the vessel continued on to Bremerhaven, Germany where the remaining yachts were discharged.
