Wagenborg Nedlift has taken delivery of a Liebherr LTM 1650-8.1 mobile crane.
The 700-tonne crane is part of a sustainable partnership programme Wagenborg and Liebherr embarked on in 2021, in which both companies joined forces to regenerate and increase the sustainability of the Wagenborg Nedlift crane fleet, as HLPFI reported here.
Liebherr is supplying some 25 cranes to replace older machines from Wagenborg Nedlift’s fleet, with old lifting and drive technology being replaced by new machinery, resulting in a considerable CO2 and nitrogen reduction.
The LTM 1650-8.1 is equipped with Liebherr’s state-of-the-art technologies for mobile cranes, such as VarioBallast – a system for adjusting the counterweight radius – and EcoDrive technology, making the crane considerably more comfortable and quieter by reducing its engine speed.
