Germany-based Ulferts & Wittrock has placed an order for 31 Liebherr cranes, which will be delivered during 2021.
The cranes range from the 40-tonne capacity LTM 1040-2.1 to the 250-tonne capacity LTM 1250-5.1, with around one third of the machines in the five-axle class.
The order also includes a large number of the LTM 1150-5.3 model, which Liebherr launched during October 2020.
The LTM 1150-5.3 offers a maximum lifting capacity of 150 tonnes and a 66 m telescopic boom, which is 10 percent longer compared to its predecessor – the LTM 1130-5.1.
Marcus Wittrock, managing partner at Ulferts & Wittrock, said: “The new Liebherr 150-tonne crane enables us to expand our five-axle class perfectly as it delivers excellent lifting capacities, a very long telescopic boom and can carry a good deal of ballast on public roads.”
According to Liebherr, Ulferts & Wittrock has taken delivery of a total of 80 Liebherr mobile cranes over the last two years.
