Cometto has delivered a MTH30 straddle carrier to Spain’s Servicios Siderurgicos Integrales (SSI).
The MTH straddle carrier is designed to transport long loads used in industrial applications, such as billets and tubes. This customised version of the MTH features an inside lifting stroke and is able to handle two stacked pallets.
The MTH30 is equipped with pneumatic-mechanical suspension and a hydraulic steering system with a maximum steering angle of 30 degrees.
SSI specialises in handling cargoes for the steel industry and is present in 26 ports in Spain. It is a part of the multimodal group Bergé Logistics.
