Liebherr handed over an LR 1160.1 unplugged to Dutch crane rental company Bultena Verhuur at bauma 2022.
The battery-powered crawler crane is the first model from Liebherr’s unplugged series to be shipped to the Netherlands. It first introduced the electric crawler crane series in 2020 and expanded the range to include the LR 1160.1 earlier this year, as HLPFI reported here.
The LR 1160.1 unplugged emits no exhaust fumes and, when idling, the sound pressure level of three unplugged crawler cranes is equivalent to a normal conversation on the construction site, said Liebherr.
