Liebherr-Werk Nenzing has expanded its unplugged range of machines, adding six products including two crawler cranes.
In addition to piling and drilling rigs, the expanded range now includes the LR 1130.1 unplugged and LR 1160.1 unplugged.
The battery powered units do not produce any exhaust fumes and are extremely quiet, said Liebherr. The battery is charged using a conventional jobsite electric supply. Operation can continue as normal while charging.
The electro-hydraulic drive of the new cranes has the same performance specifications as the conventional version. As with all crawler cranes from Liebherr-Werk Nenzing, the unplugged models are also available with all proven assistance systems.
