German crane service provider Wiesbauer has taken delivery of its first Demag AC 55-3 all-terrain crane.
The 55-tonne capacity model, which features a main boom length of 50 m, was delivered to Wiesbauer's Rhein-Neckar branch in Plankstadt.
Branch manager, Norman Weitzel, said: "We mainly purchased the AC 55-3 for use in the construction of cellars, prefabricated houses, and lifting ventilation equipment.
"In addition to the compliance with axle load limits, we were especially impressed by the AC 55-3's longest main boom in its class at 50 m, which makes the use of additional jibs superfluous for many jobs. This means that in most cases the crane is ready to get to work right away and without additional assembly work."
