Brazilian crane company Darcy Pacheco has taken delivery of a Liebherr LTM 1750-9.1 heavy-duty crane.
The nine-axle LTM 1750-9.1 has 800 tonnes of lifting capacity, a telescopic boom extension, and a 91 m luffing jib.
The crane is also equipped with the Liebherr VarioBase system and ECOdrive, which helps save fuel and reduce noise, according to Liebherr.
Eduardo Silva, maintenance director for Darcy Pacheco, said that the crane will mainly be deployed for the maintenance of industrial plants and wind farms. Its first job will be maintenance work of a thermoelectric plant in the northeast of Brazil.
Such industrial maintenance work, Liebherr explained, increasingly demands equipment capable of operating in more restricted areas.
