CS Wind Portugal has opted for additional SPMTs from TII Scheuerle, which will be used to transport wind turbine components at the Gafanha da Nazarè site.
“Our industry requires a high degree of precision and reliability. The Scheuerle SPMT, combined with the vehicle manufacturer’s professional training, gives us the tools to deliver a top performance every time in the field of wind energy,” said Ruben Gomes, R&D manager at CS Wind Portugal.
The wind turbine components being transported at the Gafanha da Nazarè site include rotor blades, wind tower segments, nacelles, tripods, monopiles and power plant modules – all varying in weight.
In November 2024, Berard boosted its fleet with an additional 12 axle lines of Scheuerle SPMTs.
