Construction contractor Bulet International Nigeria has taken delivery of a Liebherr LRT 1090-2.1 rough-terrain crane.
The LRT 1090-2.1 has a maximum lifting capacity of 90 tonnes, a 47 m-long telescopic boom and can operate at a maximum radius of 50 m. Liebherr said that the unit is the first LRT rough-terrain crane in Nigeria.
“We needed a crane for our workforce which is safe and easy to operate and provides very good visibility from the crane cabin. Furthermore, VarioBase makes us more flexible on site, enabling us to complete hoists safely in constricted areas,” said Aliyu Isa, ceo at Bulet.
Based in the city’s capital, Abuja, Bulet plans to use the LRT 1090-2.1 to help with tower crane assembly and for hoisting work.
