Danish crane and heavy haulage contractor BMS has taken delivery of a Liebherr LTM 1090-4.2.
BMS collected the 90-tonne capacity mobile crane late last year, making it the first model of the new LTM 1090-4.2 in Denmark.
The four-axle crane can travel with axle loads up to 16 tonnes and features a 60 m telescopic boom, 10 m more than its predecessor, the LTM 1090-4.1.
The LTM 1090-4.2 will replace a four-axle LTM 1070-4.1 in BMS' fleet and will be the smallest crane at its site in Aarhus.
According to Per Thorsen Christiansen, managing director in Aarhus, BMS' fleet of cranes in Aarhus is largely used for construction projects, including steel fabrication, the assembly of prefabricated concrete components or for installing rebars (reinforcement steel) for concrete foundations.
