The crane was delivered at breakwater 2, north of the port’s Príncipe de España quay, and was received on behalf of Bergé by the company’s ceo, Pedro García Navarro, along with its purchasing manager, Carolina Arellano.

Present on behalf of Liebherr Ibérica were David Cano, head of the maritime cranes and construction equipment division, and Juan Carlos Jiménez, sales manager of the same division.

The LHM 550 crane reduces emissions by using 26 percent less fuel compared to older models, and features mechanical insulation measures to minimise noise. With a reach of 54 m and a maximum load capacity of 144 tonnes, the LHM 550 is suited for moving bulk products, steel products and project cargo.

The LHM 550 cranes also come with Liebherr’s LiDAT Smart App maintenance, which offers insight into the status of the equipment and its performance.
