Environmental group calls for offshore wind energy moratorium

A GE Vernova wind turbine blade installed at the Vineyard Wind project in Massachusetts, USA failed during mid-July. With debris continuing to wash ashore, the environmentalist group Green Oceans has called for a federal and state moratorium on all offshore wind development in the wake of the incident off Nantucket.
