Maryland Port Administration (MPA) has appointed Matt Wypyski as deputy executive director commercial development.
He took up the role in August 2024. Wypyski will manage all revenue-generating activities linked to MPA including the departments of trade development along with maritime commercial management and strategic initiatives. Previous roles include senor executive roles at other major US ports, marine terminal and stevedoring firms, and with ocean carriers.
Wypyski most recently served as chief operating officer at the port of New Orleans, overseeing all operational needs.
