Patrick Walters has stepped down as chief operating officer of the UK’s Peel Ports Group.
According to Peel Ports, Walters had previously decided to stay with the group to oversee projects such as its Liverpool 2 strategy – a GBP400 million (USD499.4 million) investment to expand one of the UK’s largest transatlantic container ports.
“Now that some major milestones relating to our Liverpool 2 strategy have been achieved, it is with regret that Patrick has chosen to step down from his current role as chief operating officer,” said Peel Ports.
