Ro-ro shipping group Wallenius Wilhelmsen has entered into a five-year agreement with an agriculture, forestry and roadbuilding equipment manufacturer.

Commencing December 1, 2024, the shipping and logistics agreement is valued at approximately USD766 million, based on projected volumes across the five-year period.

The agreement includes a partnership on decarbonisation, whereby the customer will pay for the phase-in of green and renewable fuels.

“Strengthening our long-term partnership with a key high and heavy customer, the agreement reflects the customer’s need to secure predictable long-term ocean capacity and commitment to decarbonising their supply chain,” said Pia Synnerman, chief customer officer at Wallenius Wilhelmsen.

In August 2024, Wallenius Wilhelmsen restructured its executive team.
