July 28 -The Houston-based Project Division of UTC Overseas Inc has appointed Brent Patterson as a project director to oversee project development of industrial and global capital projects and services to engineering and procurement companies.
A graduate of Chapman University, Petterson is a U.S. Navy veteran who formed his own company, Patterson Transportation, which specialised in North American heavy haul and heavy lift services. Prior to joining UTC Overseas, he served in a senior position at a large freight forwarding company.
"We are pleased to have Brent join the UTC Overseas Project team," said division vice president Marco Poisler. "His previous experience and knowledge provides our customers with a very valuable skill set. He has a strong engineering background and extensive experience in heavy haul trucking, rigging and lift operations. He knows how to select the right resources to effectively manage project logistics from start to finish."
