Two years after it was acquired by Freja Transport & Logistics, Poland’s Transcargo will undergo a rebranding to align with its parent organisation.
Freja completed the acquisition of Transcargo on January 1, 2018, as HLPFI reported here. On January 1, 2020, the company will officially change its name to Freja Transport & Logistics, adopt the organisation’s logo and transfer its operations to the same IT platform.
“To have the same logo, the same name and furthermore to work on the same IT platform are important parameters in order to increase our visibility and sharpen our competitive position on the Polish market,” said Torben Mortensen, managing director of Transcargo, and Ulrik Rasmussen, group ceo.
On February 1, 2020, Freja will also welcome Tomasz Cegielski as managing director in Poland. He will report to Mortensen, who will become chairman of the board at Freja Poland.
