Terex Utilities has opened a 450,000 sq ft (41,806.4 sq m) facility in South Dakota, the USA.

Terex said the first production units have rolled off the line at the 55-acre site (22.3-ha) site located in Watertown, among them a C6060 digger for Otter Tail Power Company in Minnesota.

“By consolidating from ten facilities into one, Terex Utilities improves internal communications and production efficiencies, which will reduce product lead times to better serve our customers,” said Clint Weber, vice president and general manager at Terex Utilities.
