From January 1, 2021, Tadano UK will be the sole representative of both the Tadano and Demag brands in the UK and Republic of Ireland.
Since acquiring the Demag mobile crane business unit last year, as HLPFI reported here, Tadano has been taking steps to integrate the two brands in European markets. This latest development will see its two businesses in the UK operate under one legal entity.
Tadano UK said: “This consolidation of our operations will provide an opportunity to further capitalise on synergies and improve our operational efficiencies.”
Tadano UK’s facility in Tankersley will remain operational during the transition but will eventually be relocated to the existing Demag facilities in Long Crendon.
