April 28 - Crane service and heavy transport provider Welti-Furrer has taken delivery of the first two Terex Explorer 5800 cranes to be delivered to Switzerland.
Welti-Furrer ordered the two units, both of which have a single-engine design and 70 m boom, with a runner and an optional second hoist, which will enable the company to use two-hook turning.
Terex explained that the acquisition of the two Explorer 5800 cranes is only the beginning of Welti-Furrer's upgrade process, with the Swiss company taking delivery of two Terex AC 350/6 all terrain cranes in May 2015.
