deugro (USA) has appointed Carl Sorensen as director of sales and business development.
Sorensen has more than 28 years of experience in the logistics industry covering freight forwarding, project operations management, vessel and barge chartering, along with sales and business development. He will be based out of the company’s Houston, Texas office.
Sorensen held managerial positions at C.H. Robinson for more than 19 years. Most recently, he was founder, ceo and general manager of Marine Charter Services, where he spent nearly 11 years.
In May 2024, deugro Canada appointed a new project manager and a new business development manager.
