Hamburg-based offshore service provider SeaRenergy has acquired Elbe-1, an engineering company that offers consultancy services for the design, certification and approval of offshore wind projects.
SeaRenergy provides: engineering; marine services; quality, health, safety and environment management (QHSE); and offshore professionals for the installation and maintenance of offshore wind farms and platforms.
Elbe-1, meanwhile, delivers specialists and support for the planning of offshore wind farms globally, including but not limited to process of design, certification and permits.
Hagen Heesch, Elbe-1 founder, will remain the managing director of the company.
