Van der Vlist’s facility in Schelluinen, the Netherlands, is open and operational.
The new building is home to the following four business units: Van der Vlist Speciaal- en Zwaartransport; Van der Vlist Modulair; Van der Vlist Logistics; and Van der Vlist Schelluinen.
The heavy transport specialist said the building is energy neutral, with fitted solar panels and a heat pump. In addition to the offices, there is a workshop for the repair and maintenance of the trucks and trailers.
The premises benefits from longer wells allowing Van der Vlist to work on two complete trucks/trailers; four overhead cranes; and a large parking facility so shuttling is not necessary. It also has two test benches where all trucks/trailers can perform a brake test, and a plate for measuring axle weights.
The new address can be seen here.
