March 20 - During the Worldwide Project Consortium's (WWPC) 14th membership conference in Phuket, General Transport's Fritz Mumenthaler resigned from the network's board of advisors and was replaced by Dirk Roethig of LS Cargo International.
WWPC thanked Mumenthaler for the past years of service to the network as a member of the board, and welcomed Roethig, who is based at LS Cargo's office in Dubai, to the new position.
The rest of the members of the board were reelected by attending members, to consist of Willy Hoffmann from the USA's BNSF Logistics, Patrick Lee from Malaysia's CNC Freight Services and Mohamed Osman from Sudan's Darka for Trading.
