June 14 - The Project Cargo Network (PCN) has added Integral Chile SA as its second member in Chile.
Established in 1992, Integral Chile currently employs 25 staff and offers full heavy lift and project cargo services, including oversized cargo, extra-weight cargo, and merchandise that requires specific logistics needs.
PCN says it is especially delighted to have recruited strong representation in this important market as news that projects worth USD14 billion in the Chilean infrastructure sector have been put up for tender.
The Chilean Foreign Investment Committee under the Ministry of Economy, Development and Tourism had announced substantial foreign investment projects in the infrastructure sector. These projects include the retender of the AMB International Airport in Santiago.
The photograph shows a special shipment which Integral Chile completed for the United Nations consisting of 18 tanks + 35 trucks and vans + 12 containers (armament & ammunitions) + 2 cisterns. The charter was shipped from Mombassa, Kenya to La Paz, Bolivia through Port of Arica in Chile.
PCN now has two members in Chile with Integral Chile joining existing member, Diasa Container Line.
