October 28 - Metro Ports has appointed David Parrott as its new director of operations for the US Gulf and East Coast.
Parrott will have regional responsibility for all of Metro Ports' operations on the US Gulf and East Coast, with emphasis on developing stevedoring, logistics and general cargo operations in Texas, North Carolina and Georgia.
He joins Metro Ports with over 27 years of experience in the maritime industry, beginning his career with Wilhelmsen Lines and most recently serving at Liberty Terminals.
