Oregon-headquartered Omega Morgan has acquired the assets of Intermountain Rigging and Heavy Haul (IRH), the Salt Lake City-based heavy haul and rigging specialist.
Omega Morgan specialises in heavy transportation, rigging and machinery moving services. “We are thrilled to welcome the IRH personnel into the Omega Morgan family. This will not only expand our geographic reach, but also combines two of the industry’s most experienced and skilled teams,” said Omega Morgan’s ceo, Dick Ferchak. “We aim to build upon IRH’s strong brand and reputation while offering our shared customers a broader range of services and capabilities.”
The company has been busy bolstering its capabilities across 2023. In March, Omega Morgan hired two team members to head up sales departments in Houston (Texas): Annaliesse Hernandez (machinery Moving) and Chad Rainwater (specialised transportation). In Boise (Idaho), it brought on two new team members: Garrett Hampton (machinery moving sales) and Zach Borchardt (machine tool alignment).
It also acquired California-based Walker Brothers Machinery Moving, headquartered in Anaheim.
