December 5 - Noatum Ports, the largest maritime terminal operator in Spain, has celebrated the opening of new offices in Valencia, Spain, in a landmark local building.
The event was attended by local politicians, members of the maritime sector, media representatives and company employees at the city's famous Aqua Building. The regional authorities were represented by ex-law minister and member of Noatum´s board, José María Michavila, who acted as master of ceremony as well as Noatum´s CEO,Douglas Schultz, who shared with the audience the future plans of the company.
Schultz says: "Valencia is an excellent platform for our business development, where we plan to build our long term port infrastructure investment. As the leading company in the maritime and port sector in Spain we want to set up the basis of the sector´s future through our experience, talent and hard work."
The opening was attended by New York-based Jason Zibarras, chief investment officer of JP Morgan´s infrastructure investments group, who represented investors advised by JP Morgan Asset Management including Dutch pension fundABP.
