November 14 - In France, the Mediaco group, which specialises in crane rental and specialised transport engineering services has bought SMMI Levag.
SMMI has 90 machines, including 58 cranes with a lift capacity from 30 to 400 tonnes, based at four branches in Lyon, Grenoble, Valence and Annecy.
SMMI becomes part of the Mediaco Rhone Alpes group and will position itself in the Rhône-Alpes-Auvergne region with a fleet of more than 250 machines, including 120 cranes of 30 to 400 tonnes lift capacity, 80 trucks and other transport equipment.
Mediaco says this acquisition will enable it to strengthen its material assets, its presence in the Rhône-Alpes region and demonstrates the Group's growth ambitions for its business and its equipment fleet.
