The port of Tacoma, part of the Northwest Seaport Alliance (NWSA), has elected Eric Johnson as its executive director.
John Wolfe, former ceo of the port, will continue his role as ceo of NWSA – the operating partnership of the ports of Tacoma and Seattle.
Since NWSA’s formation in 2015, Wolfe has led both the alliance and the port. The appointment is in line with the alliance’s strategy to divide this dual role into two positions within the first five years of operations.
