March 9 - The Jacksonville Port Authority (Jaxport) in Florida, USA, has appointed Eric Green, the organisation's senior director of government affairs, as its acting ceo.
Green will replace Brian Taylor who joined the authority in 2013.
Taylor, who oversaw the completion of the Mile Point project and the on-dock rail facility serving the Blount Island and Dames Point Terminals, as well as berth, dock and rail upgrades, will pursue other business opportunities.
