July 3 - Intermarine appointed Scott Stadelman as the vice president of global sales and marketing, and promoted Fernando Maruri to director, Latin America sales, writes Louisa Beckett.
Stadelman has developed customer segmentation strategies, introduced sales productivity and performance processes and tools, and introduced a customer targeting and profiling tool.
Al Stanley, CEO, said: "Scott's success growing sales organisations provides additional expertise to our already talented group of professionals at Intermarine. His leadership, broad experience and appreciation of sales and sales infrastructures, will support continued focus on our customers and better servicing their cargo transportation needs."
Maruri has been with Intermarine for almost 20 years and has held positions in documentation, operations, chartering and sales. Scott Stadelman said: "Fernando has been instrumental in developing our Latin and South America business over the last 17 years and we are happy to have him back in Houston leading our sales team focusing on Latin America." Jorge Duarte will replace Maruri in Colombia and will be responsible for directing, coordinating, supervising and developing Intermarine's activities in Colombia.
Additionally, Intermarine's corporate office in Houston is moving from Greenspoint Park Drive to Waugh Drive, and the new address will be: 55 Waugh Drive, Suite 300, Houston, TX 77007
