October 4 - India's Express Transport Pvt Ltd has been certified for three quality standards.
The Mumbai-based project forwarder achieved the ISO 9001:2008 (Quality Management System), ISO 14001:2004(Environmental Management System) and OHSAS 18001:2007 (Occupational Health and Safety Management System) standards and was accredited by the UK's ISOQAR Ltd.
A spokesman for Express said: "We had to undergo an elaborate procedure of creating awareness, training and upgrading skills of our team members, investing in the required resources and setting proper systems and procedures in place to comply with the stringent requirements of these standards.
"Our clients can be confident that Express will continue to provide the high quality services they have come to expect - well into the future."
