Rotterdam-based HEBO Maritiem Service and Bonn & Mees Floating Sheerlegs have merged their operations.
With a large and diverse fleet of vessels, HEBO is often engaged with infrastructure, emergency response, salvage operations, transportation, wind, and decommissioning project across various markets. Bonn & Mees, meanwhile, has three seagoing sheerlegs with lifting capacities ranging from 400-1,800 tonnes.
HEBO said that the merger will ensure both companies are able to offer an efficient and specialised focus in heavy lifting, specialised transport, salvage operations, and emergency response. Further still, the merger creates opportunities to further expand the wide range of maritime services offered, HEBO explained.
Marius Punt (ceo of HEBO) and Peter Leenheer (owner of Bonn & Mees) aspire to seize new opportunities for growth, expansion, sustainability, and international development. Within this framework, the parties said they will actively seek acquisitions and integration of new companies to enhance and complete their service offerings.
