October 19 - Havator has won a contract from Metsä Fibre, part of the the Metsä Group, to provide lifting services for the construction of a bioproduct mill in Aänekoski, central Finland.
The contract covers organising and planning the lifting services, monitoring on-site safety, and coordinating the logistics between the site and storage facilities.
Worth EUR1.2 million (USD1.35 million), the mill is reportedly the largest investment in the history of Finland's forest industry. Construction of the mill has already started and it is set to open during the third quarter of 2017.
