EDF Renewables selected a consortium of Atlantique Offshore Energy, GE Grid Solutions and DEME Offshore to deliver offshore substations for French offshore projects.
The group will deliver equipment for the 450 MW Courseulles and 498 MW Fecamp offshore wind energy projects. Atlantique Offshore is responsible for the design, fabrication and commissioning of both topside platforms and associated jacket foundations.
GE Grid Solutions will provide and commission platform HV electrical and safety systems. DEME Offshore will tackle the transport and installation of the units, including pre-piling works.
