Portsmouth, UK-based logistics provider and cargo terminal Portico has appointed Audrey Emmett as its logistics business development manager.
Emmett has over 15 years of experience in the industry working in both general and specialist freight forwarding sector. She has more recently been providing logistics support to the biomedical and research industry. She will be tasked with driving the expansion and building on Portico’s established Customs, warehousing and cargo handling services.
Recently, Portico has invested in haulage services and has a fleet of eight HGVs. It is also finalising a purpose-built general cargo warehouse that has up to 50,000 sq ft (4,645.6 sq m) of storage.
Emmett said that these recent investments places Portico “in a great position to expand its expertise into the wider logistics area”.
