February 27 - Drewry, one of the leading independent advisory and analytical research organisation in the maritime sector, and a regular editorial contributor to HLPFI, has announced the opening of a new office in Shanghai.
Recent restructuring of Drewry's core services into three new brands, Drewry Maritime Research, Drewry Maritime Advisors and Drewry Supply Chain Advisors, is now complimented by the opening of the new Chinese office which Drewry says is now better placed to serve key clients, while also using local market knowledge to support international clients.
Drewry says it is no stranger to the Chinese market, having built long-established relationships over the past decade and completed numerous assignments for leading organisations, while also jointly organising the annual World Shipping Summit held in China since 2003.
Arjun Batra, group managing director, stated: The development of our three core businesses under the Drewry brand enables us to provide one of the most comprehensive analytical and advisory services available to the maritime and logistics sector.
Our Shanghai office, coupled with our existing locations in London, Delhi and Singapore, places Drewry at the heart of a global industry that requires local, national and international knowledge to provide our clients with the continuous support they need, he added.
Drewry's continued success in the market has been driven by the demand for an independent source of expertise and knowledge from sectors such as shipping, banking and finance.
