Christian to depart Port NOLA

Brandy D. Christian will step down as president and ceo of the port of New Orleans (Port NOLA) in mid-June 2024.

Christian has served in the roles at Port NOLA since January 1, 2017, and as the ceo of the New Orleans Public Belt Railroad (NOPB) since its acquisition by the port on February 1, 2018. She joined the port as its chief operating office in 2015.

Executive vice president and chief financial officer Ronald Wendel Jr will assume acting leadership of Port NOLA and NOPB following Christian’s departure. He joined the port in 2015.
